Triumph Marlin

I have a very early SWB Marlin Roadster on Triumph Vitesse mechanics, I have had great fun with the car and am loath to part with it, however I would like to try a little trialing just for fun but continue to use it every day as at present. I would prefer to have a reliable car that I would not be scared of breaking and as far as I am concerned I would rather finish last in Class 8 than a non finisher in Class 7. Therefore.... in an ideal world how would you guys suggest I modify the car ( I assume the complete rear end will have to go for starters?), is the front suspension strong enough, is the engine too heavy? , Or perhaps given a blank canvas what would make the ideal car?.

With Thanks

Latest Virus Threat W32.Bugbear.B@mm

The corporate world was hit by this latest Virus last week. It's a new variation on an old theme but you should take it seriously. This especially applies to those of you without Virus protection. You may think you have it because Norton came with your computer but are your virus definitions up to date?

In many cases I think not. You got the program for free but you haven't paid for a new subscription to Virus Definition up-date when the old one ran out!

In my case this was two months on my new HP!!

You can read about the new threat at

Watch out for e-mails with attachments ending in double extensions ending in .exe, .scr, or .pif

Remember that the mail will appear to come from somebody you know, perhaps with a Subject they have mailed you with before.

You can download a free check and remove tool from Symentec at http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.bugbear.b@mm.removal.tool.html

You can also get them to check out your whole system for free by following this link
