How to win awards

Want to win awards in Classic Trials? My very successful Arkley-MG Midget is for sale. Won dozens of awards in the last few years including MCC "Triple" 2005. I'm a rubbish driver so the car must be good! The best offer over 짙1800 will be your first step to a cupboard full of trophies! You can't build a competitive car for this money. Have a look at the "For Sale" message board or just give me a ring on 01579 348765.

Trials car for sale........ Chris Barham

For Sale...    A 1930`s styled  replica of an Austin 7   biult by the Fisher Sports Car Company, this model is the called The Fisher Flyer,  its thought only 2 of these cars where biult by the company, this being the 2nd. This one was first registered in April 1979, as a Fisher Flyer. (as stated on the V5).
Its based on a modified Reliant Kitten chassis  with simular dimensions to the Liege`s.  Since purchased it`s had the Reliant rear axle replaced with a Bedford Rascel axle with the Liege modifications that allow Reliant half shafts to be used along with adapter plates allowing Austin 7 spoked wheels to be used.  This has given a very acceptable 1st and 2nd gears ideal for the "hills".
It has a very comprehensive biuld history  and was first purchased with the intention of competing in classic trials on 4 wheels rather than 2!  But lack of space and time has forced a reluctant sale.  It is taxed and tested till Dec 06 and ready to go!!! Priced at £4,000 ovno.  For more info and pictures  ring 01237 470514  ( N.Devon )   or email  NEVIL2@BTINTERNET.COM   or Muddyhell@btinternet.com.

Can the internet do it again???

Here's some items that might be of interest to the FWD (that's "F" for "front") fraternity, or even someone looking to build a rail or buggy:

An early Mk2 Golf GTi.  Not in itself an ideal car for trialling perhaps but it does have a 2.0 litre 8 valve Audi engine (K  Jetronic fuel injection) that goes like the proverbial off a shovel.  The gear box is good as well.  It also has various other bits that would be of interest to anyone who is into their Mk2 Golfs and would allow the purchaser to recoup some of the cost.  This can be delivered if you don't live too far from West Cornwall   I'm looking for £500.00  o.v.n.o.

Also available is a complete K Jetronic injection system plus 1.8 cylinder head with a good cam.  £50.00 the lot.

Also I have various Beetle bits too numerous to mention - give me a ring and I'll see what I can do

Contact Pete Barr on 01029 214468 or pbpclovermead@tinyworld.co.uk

As well as the above Dave Dyer wants to sell his Class 4 Beetle.  You might remember that this was the Class 4 car to beat in 2005 (the driver wasn't bad either!).  It has an Ade Marfell built engine that has been well maintained and comes complete with on board compressor and tank and various bits and pieces that would allow you to start trialling straightaway.  Dave is looking for offers in the region of £2.5k for this excellent car and then is off riding his bike around Europe.  Give him a ring on 01643 841139 or 07977 143644.  He doesn't have an e mail address which is why I've finally got round to doing this after promising to in February!

We're both looking forward to being inundated with calls.

Lands End Results

Now that you have all had time to peruse the Lands End results to death, what did you think of the new layout.
Did it make them easier to read?  Harder to read?   Easier to find stuff, or harder?
Is this layout better, worse or just different?
The MCC Executive would be interested to know your opinions.
If you just don't care one way or the other, let them know that as well and we can save the postage by not bothering to send you any results at all.
