Exe Valley Trial?

"Do we have a Kickstart Club rep – think it is their event that goes into Ideford/Luton area – they’ve left a load of course marking stuff just across the ford at bottom of the lane that guy felled a tree across a couple of yrs ago. Not very good p.r."

 This may have been the Crashbox Club event - the Exe Valley TRial? Anyone on here from the organising Club?

Tucks Cross Trial

Had an email from Nick Bowler who was recently posed this question:-

 

I wonder if you could help please? I am trying to find details of the

"Tuck Cross Trial", I had printed them from the web, but have lost them, and try as I may cannot find them nor can I remember details of the site from which I

took them. This Trial is regarded as a "classic", and takes place either in the

Wessex centre, or the South Western centre. Thanking you in advance.

From the reference to "centre" I presume its a bike event. Can anyone shed any light.

Classical Gas

Hello Gassers - Just to let you know that since I moved to Bromham 3 weeks ago I have been having major broadband problems. In consequesnce I have not been able to apply my labours to the Classical Gas empire. A nice man from BT has been to CG HQ today and it looks as if he has fixed the problem. So normal service will resume as soon as possible. - Michael

Mechanics Trial

For the first time I entered the Stroud & District MC's Mechanics Trial last Saturday and congratulate the organizers on a well run and most enjoyable trial.

 

Excuse my ignorance, but why is this called "The Mechanics Trial".

I have just been given a copy of the September edition of the magazine, 'Enjoying MG' the magazine of the MG Owners Club.

It has a good 4 page artical with the subject title which includes a number of good pre war photographs. Worth a read if you can get hold of a copy.
