Search Facility

Hi.  Just a general question.  Is there a way to search the message board if needing to seek advice on a specific query?

Motorsport under yet another threat

To all concerned motorsport enthusiasts.

Motorsport is again under threat.  Karting, racing, rallying, autotest, sprinting, even trialling could be frustrated by those new villagers who moved from the city and didn’t see the 20ft square signs for the circuit, or in the case of trialling, were not aware that the surrounding area is used by eccentric individuals who climb hills in the dark and the rain, have breakfast and go home!

The time has come to defend your sport.

Thanks to Motorsport News for pointing out this threat out and a possible solution.  See the link below.

We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to introduce a green paper proposing ways, that, where complaints have been instigated by resident(s) against a long standing activity (for example, church bells, sports facility, local airfield and similar), and where residence has been taken up since the start of that activity (providing there has been no significant increase in activity), a presumption should be made to protect the continuation of that activity and reject such complaint. Subject: Remove Constant Contact Block

Hello. My name is XXXX and I have been a customer of your services since XXXX. Bristol MC&LCC

Since re-patriating my HRG from the USA some three weeks ago, I have been delving into its history. The latest gem is that it was the first car entered in the first car race (event 2 , 1 being for motorcycles) to be run by the Bristol club at their new Castle Combe circuit in July 1950. The driver is still going strong at 80 years of age and is digging out some photos for me.
I gather from the Castle Combe archivist that there is a BMC & LCC video "Bristol Motor Sport" that shows a brief glimpse or two of HLO 163 ...... so..... calling Pete Hart ...... Any idea if I can get hold of a copy ?
