Stroud 50th Anniversary Trial

The Stroud Trial is being run to a format with the emphasis on teams.

Is anybody else interested in the trial and joining up into a team?

If so either please email me markrosten_edwards@hotmail.com or perhaps we could group together as Gassers.

Answers below!!!

It is going to be a good!

  1. Good idea Mark, I would like to be part of a team, I have a class 8 car. Any one want me?
I understand that the regs. for the trial are out, some people had them on Tuesday. But as of Thursday morning none have reached Hayling Island! I just hope that I can get an entry when I finally receive Regs.

  2. I haven't received my regs yet (Thursday) but it's Mike Haywards turn to drive and he got his on Monday! Teams are important as they get priority for a run. Not sure what Mike wants do on a team yet. We usually run with a couple of other guys as "The New Falconers".A "gassers" team would be great.Michael

  4. My regs. were waiting for me when I got home last night. I have sent in an entry this morning with a note I amtrying to get in a team.
A 'Classical Gassers' team sounds good. Are there 2 other like minded gassers out there?
Now down to final preparation for the Edinbourgh trial this weekend, got to fit the new tax disc!

  5. Hi all.I am glad that this sparked a little. I've teamed up with my Dad and Jim Scott in their Imp and Stilletto respectively. Not near the 17 figure!Good luck to all on the Edinburgh and hopefully I meet some of you at Falcon's PCT on the 15th and along the Stroud route.Mark

  6. Over 40 entries received by yesterday (Sunday) evening. I suggest that competitors still trying to form teams should get individual entries in ASAP with a note that they are trying to form teams. But remember, the Regs say that ALL teams (assuming we don't have more than 40 teams) with ALL THREE entries in before the 7th get to run. So it's a balancing act, sorry! Ideally, we'll get the 120th entry in on the 14th and then there's no problem for anyone! As the event gets nearer, I begin to wonder even more what induced me to want to organise it.If this is a 'labour of love' then I'm the luckiest man alive!Andrew
