Beetle for trials

Is anyone wanting to sell a beetle reasonably ready to trial. The son & heir having been somewhat displaced from the bouncing seat by his future stepmother naturally wants to drive. He needs something he can use as an everyday car until his talents are recognised and he becomes really rich.

  1. Tony,   The big problem is to find one that hasn't been attacked by the tin worm too much. On most trials you can trial a completely standard Beetle. It's desireable to raise the suspension a bit. This is a pretty simple procedure and is well documented. After that you should skid the gearbox mount. I trialled my car for a long time without a sump guard. As Beetles are getting rarer there aren't as many trials ready ones coming on the market as there used to be.   Michael
