Peter - I believe that the smallest twin-axle trailer available commercially is the Brian James 'Minno' which is designed to take a small car and fit into a 'standard' garage with the car on top - but it is 6'8" overall width. They're around £1700 new but I have just managed to buy one second-hand - they're rare as hens-teeth - and it gets its first outing tomorrow. It just takes a trials-prepared (toolbox and wheel carrier, etc.) Marlin lengthwise, so should be fine for a Dellow. Failing that, I think you'll have to get someone to make you a trailer specially. Hope this may help Andrew PS - No comments please, Michael, about the ethics of trailering - we've been through all that before! ... and congratulations on your Edinburgh Class win.
I have a Brian James Minno which I bought new 7 years ago and it a great trailer. I use it for my Troll but can also fit my Morgan 4/4/ on it and it has also been uesd for things like Group 4 Escort Mk2's etc. It will fit through a standard garage door. I reccomend them. Stuart Harrold
Bantam Trailers do a range of classically styled trailers complete with wire wheels if necessary, designed I believe to look at home in the Goodwood Paddock so should at least look good with a Dellow on board.
Thanks Andrew, Stuart & Julian. Looks like I may have to get a narrow trailer made up, my drive is just too narrow for the Minno or Bantam; but I now know that I have not missed a standard trailer. Peter
