So sad to hear of Graham's untimely demise, but very glad to hear that Dennis, (who was navigating for him), got out OK. With the Allen trial having run last week I am reminded that several years ago Matt & I ran just behind Graham on this event, us in "Excalibur", he in his green class 6 Beetle, a mighty beast it was too. He freely gave us advice, including a great tip for getting a rear-engined car to turn-in on a very wet and muddy "Nanny Hurns". He later did an "exchange" with David Alderson with this car against David's "Okrassa" Beetle, which he then re-built to go Classic Rallying, and as a guess, I presume it was in this car that he and Dennis were competing. I hadn't seen him trialing for some time, but we will all miss him I am sure. SimonR
There will be a church service for Graham at Tywardreath church at 1.30pm on Friday 17th December. (Tywardreath is near Par, which in turn is near St Austell in Cornwall).
Hi Michael sad news to hear. Lets hope it doesn't put ammunition in the
