Fiat Twin cam engine & 5speed Box for sale

 Hi there,
I have a Fiat twin cam 8 valve engine (131)and RWD 5 speed Arbarth gear box and propshaft for sale.
Arbarth box is alloy and has Arbarth quick shift casting fitted.
Much too big to fit into my Liege!
Surplus to requirements and getting in my way in the garage.
I would like to think the Classic Trials folk would have a use for it.

(I could take it down to the Allen Trial For a small fee if this helps)
.

Thank Steve

Exmoor Clouds

Many thanks to Dick, Cliff, the Minehead Club and the many marshals who turned out on Sunday to put on a fantastic event in very difficult conditions.  I have never been so wet in 20 years of trialling as I was on Sunday! Despite this an excellent day of no-holds-barred trialling and yet another great Exmoor adventure

Edinburgh Trial

Does anyone know if the professional photographers were out on the trial as I havnt come across one of me I can print. Unfortunately I didnt get close enough to Michaels lens on Bamford. Alternatively has anyone else got any photos that they are willing to send me?

Edinburgh Trial - how was yours ?

Just returned after this weekend's excellent Edinburgh Trial.

A fantastic turnout of Liege, and mostly travelling together, so a true "Luxurience of Liege" could be seen by an appreciative public as well as a knowledgeable Trials community, (Matt even had a chap who had been driving past the "Bull i'Thorn" stop and come back to ask all about Tweetie Pie and where could he buy a kit to build one for himself ? (now there's a question).

We had everthing Liege this weekend, a supercharged car, a class 8 Fiat engined car and lots of Reliant engines in various stages of tune.
We also had cars running on the standard Avon SM's, cars running on Taxi tyres, and two running on the newly legal 15" rims with some very nice Firestone F 560 tyres.
Everyone finished, but nobody was able to claim Gold, - it was a tough trial and Litton Slack beat us all, Great Hucklow beat virtually all, and then a variety of other hills and restarts took their toll, (including Bamford Clough which nearly claimed Matt and I).
A super and genuine welcome at Hollinsclough Village Hall with a fantastic selection of home-made cakes and scones, (pronounce it as you will), to enjoy with your cuppa in the afternoon sunshine.
The colour for the weekend if you were driving a Liege appears to be Bronze, with serveral of us claiming one. We shall have to wait and see if the marshalls agree when the results are published.
A really good event, rough in places but a true challenge and well laid out so a big "thank you" to the organisers.

Great turnout at the dinner afterwards as well.

Hope you all had good homeward journeys.
All the best,
SimonR

Edinburgh Trial - Live - Reporters Wanted!

I hope to do live Internet reports on the Edinburgh. These will be found at http://classicalgas.spaces.live.com/  I would welcome contributions by text message from anyone who is competing, marshalling or spectating. If they email me their mobile phone number to mleete24@googlemail.com I will text them the number to use. They can then post their reports direct to the web. Be really super if any Bikers and/or Class 0  could participate - Michael
