Dave - Your pictures of Dudley are fantastic. Glad to see he hasn't any girly things like windscreens on the HRG. The big question is did he have a hood for the first part of the Pom where I believe you get penalties if you don't have one. Dudley under a hood Michael
Superb photos. Look closely at the first one and you'll see that the radiator badge actually says HRS not HRG. Have always assumed that the builders ( Messrs Clark, Roach - and much development by Sterry ?) intended it to stand for Halford Robins Special as opposed to Halford, Robins, Godfrey on the factory built cars.

ReplyDeleteBasically it stands for HRG, Riley, Special as it is running with a Riley engine and HRG everything else.
