Perhaps its because the driver or the cars are getting too old or is it that the hills are getting rougher? I will find out as I am running fourth car on the road after the motorcycles. Stuart Harrold
The electronic versions of the route cards (in PDF and Word format) should be on the MCC website towards the end of this week. I will make another posting here when they're available.
As I understand it, the route's the same for 2011 as it was this year. EX10 and EX11 route books seem pretty similar so if you have the last .mmo file it might do. Though I see this year it's now 11 miles longer from Plusha to Haynes.
Thanks Andrew - So I can use it with my iPhone but not the TomTom. Passenger Mike tends to suffer from car sickness at night on the LE (not the other trials!) and last year I plotted the route as far as Sutcombe on the TomTom using waypoints. Took ages but worked fine. Personally I am keen to preserve as much originality in the sport as possible, but I must confess that doesn't extend to route finding!
I used tomtom for overnight run on this year's Exeter - worked very well - thinking of using it again for the Lands End. If anyone is interested let me know
Thanks Andrew - Interesting that 75 of the entry are in Class 0

ReplyDeleteNEVER assume that the route is the same as the previous year until you've checked EVERY word ;-)
ReplyDeleteMemory map files now available. Same link as above.
ReplyDeleteWhat hardware do you need for the memory map?
