Not really an ideal location for you, but Aldridge Trimming in Wolverhampton made a great job of my tonneau, and will be doing my hood when I get round to it. Personal service good price and attention to detail. My only connection with them is as a satisfied customer. Andy
I live in Devon so my contact here won't be much good. However, Geoff Jackson has had some very nice work done by a chap in Cambridge if that is not too far away.
If Robin's man has a pattern or if Robin could let him use his tonneau cover as a pattern, it sounds like a good bet. He's done one before and Robin is happy with it so what better recommendation?
Many thanks for all your offers of help and contacts. CAB 282 is one of the three protoypes so quite a bit shorter than the standard cars ...if there is such a thing! I'll certainly have a look at these options plus I then also remembered Lang & Potter in plymouth used to make Marlin stuff. I'll post when Im osrted and what cost and many thanks Peter SH j
A R pound at Baldock herts made a one piece roof with zip down clear sides for my Dellow.I have been using it for the last ten years and it is still water tight.
Thanks Stuart and thanks everybody for your help. Looks like I have now found someone near Heathrow and therefore closer to home. They also appear to be very keen on price as Ive had a mohair tonneau quoted at the same price others quoted for vinyl. I will post who what and where when Ive had the work done. Thanks
Yea Try Exeter Tarpaulin Services they made an excellent new hood for the Husky

ReplyDeleteI can bring mine down to Dellow AGM for trial fit as they all vary.
ReplyDeleteJust thought, I am in Cambridge for a Wedding on 10th Sept. Could bring down and see Peter somewhere on Sunday 11th if not too far away.
