Although I find the idea of building a trials special very interesting, I cant help but think it would be virtually impossible to get one through IVA. if unregistered. Over the past 15 years or so a friend of ours as been responsible for building about ten Locosts, in various configurations, The last one he did missed the SVA deadline and he had to submit it for IVA. He had a rare old time squeezing it through, and he swore he would never do another car needing to be put through IVA. Makes me shudder just thinking about it.
Quite agree prefect1172 but I understand that there are, shall we say 'ways' of building and registering a one off vehicle without IVA. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more!!! I am glad I managed to get my Locost in for SVA just in time before IVA came into being.
Try this one on flebay - Cannon Sporting Trials Car, will be a good class 8 starting point.
