I am frantically trying to get hold of any history or information about a car that I gought this summer, it's a special built on a vitesse chassis and has I believe taken part in some MCC event in the early 90s.
Please take a moment to have a look at the attached page to see if you can shed any light on my little mystery

Many thanks

Perhaps a partial answer! I can't find anything for 1992, but in the 1993 Land's End Trial a gentleman named Clive Chouings, who lived in Shepton Mallett, entered what he called an Austin-Triumph in Class 8 (the red sticker on the front of the picture means a class 8 car). He didn't do very well, I'm afraid, failing every hill until he retired at Crackington. Clive was not an MCC member for very long and is not a member any longer. Perhaps this is the car that Bart has?
ReplyDeletePosted on behalf of John Aley:- I think Mike Furse`s suggestion is right. I can recall taking the entry and wondering what it was! John
