Ilkley Photos - Part 1

Had a great day at the Ilkley Trial on Sunday, great to meet so many friends, great weather and wonderful scenery.
 
I tool over 2000 photos, so sorting them out will take a while.  Unfrtunately I didn't get too many bikes, I seemed to be chasing the trial all day, and never quite caught up.  However so far there are some photos I took in Otley, and some of those at Hey Slack.  Of particular note is the sequence of Robert Hodgkinson and David Chilton, loosing their passenger door, and running over it, and the shot of Simon Woodall failing his driving test!

    Hi Dave,   Nice to see you again, weather made you Snappy happy I see. Thanks for posting pictures hope to see you soon. If MG Car Club Midlands are running the Burton Dasset Trial (Nr Gaydon) come on over and have a beer with us. (I hope to get Caroline driving with my son James in the seat we are trying to get at least ten Liege to turn up.Real FUN day out, pub at bottom of hill with lunch stop approx 1 hr,I think its later on in the year).     I was just looking at buying a couple of prints of my Skoda through the website and noticed all the prices are in US$. Is it best for me to buy prints through the website or can I get them direct from you?

    Hi, Graham, Glad you liked the Photos.   If you can let me know which photos you want I will download them to my other Photo gallery:-   http://www.photoboxgallery.com/ClassicTrials/   And you can buy them from here,   I prefer to do it this way as I can download better quality photos to this site, and I get a small income when I sell them.  There are a range of sizes, and youicould even get you photo on a mug.   I can't put all the photos on there as it would take too long to upload them, and unlike Smugmug they charge for the space.    If you can e'mail me which photos you want I'll get them put on there.  The best way to let me know which photos you want is from Smugmug, hover the mouse over the selected photo and you should see a drop down that includes a photo information menu.  If you can let me have the file name from that, which should start with DSC_ that would be great.   My e'mail is in my profile.   Dave Cook

    Finally I've got around to adding the last of my photos to the Ilkley Photos.  All I've got to do now is to add some comments.   There are Photos of the Start, Wharfe Bridge, Hey Slack, Langbar and the Presentations at the finish..   I hope you enjoy them.   Dave Cook
