Any hints as to a good trialling tyre for Mk 1 Dellow running 17" wheels? At present shod in Avon Tourists that need replacing. Many thanks for any advice...
I use 5.50x16 Avon Tourist for the fronts on my class 8 Dellow and have found them to be excellent over the years. Only changed them last year because the old ones were so old and were not gripping as well as they used to do.
I was looking for 16 or 17" tyres for the rear of a buckler but the only ones I could find were cinturato's at £210 each (longstone tyres) which was a bit steep for me. Went down to 15"s but makes it painfully slow on the road.
Nigel, Presumably these are on the front so why not stick with Avon Tourist. These are not cheap but are available in 17 x 450.
