Can any one help? A group of trials supporters make there annual pilgramage to the summit of Burledge to watch a certain class 4 Beatle exit the top. Unfortunatly despite waiting for severall hours the prized sighting was not made even though they were equipped with powerfull telescopic lenses trained down the section. To help it was rumored the said competitor might had changed into a class 6 car.
Any one who can help please FWD replies to-

A Class 4 Beatle now possibly in Class 6 - not sure who you're talking about there Dave. There were definitely 4 Beatles but only two are left alive, so I'm going to guess that you're referring to Ringo Star. Nice to see you let your tyres down on Birch Hill this year. You're learning, slowly, but you are learning! You might even see the top of Simms on the Exeter. I doubt it but who knows!
ReplyDeleteAt least the well-known Beetle driver moving (up?) from Class 4 to Class 6 remembered that this requires a few more restarts, and remembered to stop. Which is rather better than another well-known driver moving (up?) into Class 7 who hasn't quite mastered this elementary fact yet. Andrew PS - and congratulations to Dave H.
ReplyDeleteRemembered to stop -just didnt always remember to get going again!
ReplyDeleteDidnt realise you had to go to the top of Simms, Now you tell me will see you up there Giles? maybe not! Bugger, you have to do a re-start. Ask Fran for the failure route again.
