Don't run 165 x 14 on a Marlin! Run 185 x 14 all round or 175 x 14 on the front and 185 x 14 on the back. Technically you could run 165 x 14 on the front and 185 x 14 on the back (ACTC rules on not more than two tyre sizes) but I don't recommend it in case you puncture a 'front' and need to run odd sizes (which I have done once to finish a trial). As regards what's good - it's whatever you can get. Look at the ACTC tyre list and read my website (www.wheelspin.org.uk) although the 'Wheels and Tyres' page could do with a bit of updating. Good luck Andrew
Dave, Remind us of what wheel diameter and section you need. In some sizes you don't get much choice these days. Michael
ReplyDeletethe tyre size is 165 x 14 on a Marlin
