Marshalling with Mike Hayward at one of the new Priors Holt sections. Everyone was getting up ours so I managed to take a few pictures some of wich are posted on www.classictrials.co.uk also did a blog at http://spaces.msn.com/members/classicalgas/
It all seemed to go very well apart from an unfortunate accident to the GN driver who I heard was OK, hope so. I would love some more pictures or notes, either posted here or emailed to mleete24@hotmail.com

ReplyDeleteWe really enjoyed the Clee Hill, first time we made it to the finish! Didn't say we were doing well, I'll just blame the driver.
ReplyDeleteWell organised, really good event. Thanks to the organisers.
By then way, just got my entry form back for the Cotswold Clouds, the event is full.............anybody looking for a passenger?
Heard from Jim Wood that the couple who had the accideent are OK:- "Our friends had a crash (rolled the car on the road avoiding a minibus) - they are OK but sore and the car is not badly damaged. Their car is a green GN Tourer XA103 with a big v-twin and a sort of boattail like ours - Richard Parsons & Louise Northwood."
ReplyDeleteStuart and I had a good day out marshalling on Priors Holt 3 (the Troll's still sick). Not the longest hill in the world, but very interesting nonetheless. Most impressive climb of the day has to go to the Bugatti Brescia which was thrown at the hill, had a wonderful exhaust note, and the lingering perfume of Castrol R.
ReplyDeletePity about the mist though.
