With just over 4 weeks to go, preperations are well advanced for the Northern despite the widest variety of weather seen for years doing its best to cause problems. No chance! We are Fell Side and this is the Northern. Enough said. Can I ask that anyone who received an award on the 2008 Northern, which is due to be returned, take it to the Clee and hand over to Fred Mills or Derek Reynolds. Alternatively please bring it along to the Northern or pass on to someone else to hand over. It would help if you could let me know what you will be doing by sending me a message at mykepocock@yahoo.co.uk

Caroline really enjoys this one.
It has been a struggle for us this year, our kids all over place with school trips to France and brass band contest in Blackpool all the same weekend!
Looking forward to Sandale and all the other classic sections the club and the North lakes has to offer.

Still some places available so get your entries in. Some new hills to test the experts and amateurs alike. The floods have altered some hills so beware those who think they know them!!!! The views over Bassenthwaite are even more stunning due to some logging work within the forests. Give it a try if you havent tried before. TTFN. Myke.
