Ford engine numbers

Can any of the Ford experts help this Marlin owner?

  2. The 711M6015BA is the best 1600 block to have. Not to be confused with the 711M6015AA block which is a 1100/1300 block, or the 771M 1600 block which has different engine mountings, and a shorter crank for transverse appications.
    The book to get is "Rebuilding and Tuning Ford's Kent Crossflow Engine" .I have just looked at Amazon and they are quoting £75+ for this book-- ridiculous!!!! It should be about the same price as a Haynes manual.
