Exeter 2009 was the second weekend in January as the first weekend was so close to New Year's Day. New Year's Day 2010 is on Friday so expect the 2010 Exeter to take place 8th/9th January.
The 2009 Exeter was held on the second weekend of January - 9th/10th - mainly because the Trecarn Hotel, the finish venue, was unavailable for the 1st weekend - (2nd/3rd). In 2010 there will be two trials with the Exeter name. The Exeter Trial celebrates its centenary in 2010 - the first Exeter Trial was held in 1910 - so the January trial will be held on the weekend of 8th & 9th January 2010 and a special celebration centenary event will be held in May 2010 more than likely on 28th/29th May based in and around Exeter/Torquay.
