  1. Michael - Well done so far! I think we're probably all going to find the Notes/Blog bit somewhat confusing at first. Is the Blog "locked" to prevent further entries? Andrew

  2. Hi Andrew - Yes the blog is locked now. Because the old MSN board was such old technology its in a format that isn't suitable for adding to existing threads. So its archived to "the blog". This is also where messages from the management can appear as stickeys.

Notes is the new message board.

You can post links to stuff in Links.

Members will see all new stuff in their personal Inbox as it appears, you can also setup your profile to have email notification of new stuff. Computer nerds like me can play with that.

However, as Steve Kenny said on the Liege site best to KISS at first.

  3. Michael - Am I missing something?? Where do I start a new note?

  4. Goto Home and then add note (assuming you are on the group page)

  5. I think it might be slightly different for you, as an administrator. Let me check. Andrew

  7. Michael, Thank you for all your hard work in the transfer of the "Classical Gas" site. I have slightly confused myself by setting up my own Multiply site, which can be accessed by going to the members section of "Classical Gas" and clicking on my photo or my name. I am using it for pictures and trialling "stuff".

  8. Andrew - Just checked and this works fine and I am not an administrator (although I live with someone who is:-)

  9. No worries with that John. That is one of the plus points of this new system. Each member gets his own "site" where you have unlimited photo storage (very useful for you with all those super pictures). You can then share them with the Classical gas group (although I haven't tried that yet). This is one of these new Web 2.0 things. However as Steve says could be good to KISS for a while!

OK I confused myself as I didn't log off Chris first - Its Michael
