New Join Up procedure

Hello,

Just to let you all know I have got a bit fed up with people joining up and not saying who they are and/or not disclosing a valid e-mail. Consequently I have changed the site so a new member has to be approved (by me) before they can join. I believe this is the right thing to do. let me know if you disagree.

  2. Michael, can you introduce a true names policy as well. An alias is all very well (and fine for certain communities), but will not necessarily be known by all members (including me).

  3. Murray,   In principle yes - for new members. However, I don't want to be to much of a killjoy  and if someone wants to use an alias like the ones I have given as examples in the Rules that's fine. For example we all would know it was you if you used JAZ   Michael
