The lad in the car is indeed in his 40's. He is my brother Brian Malin who went on to compete in Classic Trials wih a Mk 5 Buckler. The car is being driven by my father Ken who on occassions can still be spotted on MCC events.
Although he still owns the car it has not been used for many years.
