Exeter Trial - bike class B - tyres

First MCC event for me so please excuse my naivety!

I should have read the regs before today - I had mistakenly believed that road legal trials tyres like my MT43s were OK but am now not sure because of the distance between the blocks being more than 6mm. What tyres do other folks use on bikes please?

Regards and Happy New Year

  1. Answering my own question here but I took time out to read the regs etc properly today and see that m/c riders have the choice of "real" road tyres (and 2 free "foots" in recognition of the additional difficulty thsi will cause) or a trials type tyre (not the super sticky ones though) - the measurements for which seem to be just right for the MT43s - phew - no tyre changing and pinching of tubes for me then - except for the front - if only I could find where I safely "stored" the flipping thing :o(   I think we are in for an icy Exeter...   Happy New Year for 2002!   Brian
