Christmas Quiz Question 2

Only glory for this one! Q1 bought memories for Ross Nuten who saw his first trial at Tring Park around 1983 and took this picture. No prizes for spotting Mike and Sheila Furse in RDT1. However, we would like to know:-

  1. The name of this man

  2. The driver

  3. The car

  4. The driver

  5. The car

  6. Who was the owner of this Dellow and what has happened to the car since.

You can Click Here for a larger version of the picture.

  1. At last one I can make an attempt at!   No. 1. Looks to me like Geoff Jackson and I guess the Dellow in the background is his.   Cannot help with the others.   Robin Barlow.

  5. Just as a postscript, the V8 Special built by Andrew Kirby is claimed to have been  "the last V8 special to have been built".   he assembled this car in, I think, the early eighties after his Ford Pilot died during or shortly after an Exeter.
For those of you who keep piles of old Triples, (neatly ordered of course!) you can read about the construction of this car.   I cannot remember which issue, I just remember it featuring.   Perhaps someone with more time on their hands than they should have could rummage through and lets us know which one.
