Escort coil over front springs

Any Escort lad give me some idea on length & spring rate for coil overs on a escort with a 1600 kent  engine in

    I would like some info on this also ?
    When I had the Anglia I sent a standard front coil spring off to a specialist he made a new pair standard poundage + 2" these worked really well but were costly..
    All the Escort ones advertised seem to be rally style high poundage not to good for trial purposes ?
