New uprights

I'm seeking to replace the Triumph uprights on the Dutton for something without trunnions. Anyone got suggestions as to what easily available uprights I might use?

    Dutton went on to use cut down Escort or Capri struts with a Maxi ball joint fixed to the top. Had you thought of that?
