Lands End Accommodation

Any ideas for accommodation in the Penzance area? We've drawn a complete blank, so far, on all the places we've stayed at in the past and dozens of others. We'd prefer not to have to travel too far back up the A30 and, of course and as always, finding somewhere decent to eat is the second problem.

It seems the main problem is not just that Easter is very late but that the Bank Holiday on the following weekend has brought out even more UK holidaymakers. So those of you with accommodation fixed already can sit back with smug smiles.

  3. As I live in Penzance I should be able to offer advice, however it may take a little time to check on vacancies . Regarding food , I recall the Edinburgh and after wandering around looking for food in the evening. The finish will be at the Yacht Inn near the open air bathing pool, they may get overwhelmed but should be doing food as that is what they are known for. The place has changed hands since it was decided as the finish venue, but is still on apparently.Alexandra Road is full of Guest Houses and everyone that visits our office stays at the Dunedin but this is no doubt full up.Marazion ,Gulval, are close, I will investigate.

  4. I have had a look at the Penzance website, amazing that there is one! It is at WWW.penzance.co.uk . Within this there is a vast list of eating places with telephone nos so bookings can be taken and probably recommended for those who know what time they are going to finish. Also is a list of accommodation in the town and outside there must be somewhere amongst the lists given. There is even a backpackers with double rooms at 짙9- 짙10 01736 363836 . Let us know how you get on.Sorry I have not linked the PZ website, will find out how these things work one day.
