Its that time of year again for the Goodwood FoS.
Sturat Harrold and I will be spectator marshalling again, hopefully at crossing '0', which is about 200 yds before the start line.
If any Gassers are coming down, please come and say 'Hello', because we have a number of comfortable chairs to rest your weary limbs in, and a good line in chat.
We will both be looking out for the Falcon boys who also come along for this wonderful event.
The Falcon Boys (and Girls) will be marshaling the section in front of the House. Lets hope the weather stays fine. Mike Hayward.
ReplyDeleteChris Phillips and I had a great weekend marshalling at the FOS. It was interesting to look at all the Lotus cars going up the hill. Having seen the, I think, Lotus Mk2, 3 and 4 at Brooklands there was an early front engine Lotus formula 1 or 2 car at Goodwood which would have been a very good basis for a class 8 trials car. The front suspension looked very similar to my Troll !! Stuart Harrold
