I am the Black HRG driver who runs in class 7.
Anyway the reason for my post is that I have a friend who is restoring a Cannon and does'nt have much info on it. Are there any Cannon owners out there who may be able to help him?

Stuart, I am not sure that any of the present crop of Cannon drivers drop in here. However, I bumped into Steve Strutt last week. he has a Cannon waiting restoration and before his bad back restored and drove another one in trials. I know he lives on the A5 north of Milton Keynes. In will try to get an e-mail or phone number for him. Better still you could get in contact with the MCC as I knoew he is still a member. Michael

I have an excellent "skeleton" drawing of the 1963 RAC Championship winning Cannon of Rex Chappell published in Motoring News and drawn by Bill Bennett. Let me know if you are still looking.
