575 type /B Series axle info

I picked up a 1950 Austin A40 Devon rear axle it was initially for a sporting car trials car, but it looks similar to the 575 marina van axle, will the diff fit the 575 case and shafts with few if any mods?
 The ratio is 5 to 1 which i would like to use.

    Hi Liam
    I beleive they may be a couple of different half shaft spline arrangements but apart from that all the B series axles are basically the same, just different widths.

    Thanks for that Pete, i will strip the diffs out now then and investigate the splines cheers
