Michelin Tyres

Hello All,

Is anybody aware of the product name for the Michelin tyres that most people seem to be using on the Pre War / Class 2 cars?  We are currently on Dunlop's which are like ice skates on the muddy stuff and are coming to the end of their life so its time to update to the latest "covers".

Recommended outlets/sources for the tyres and any prices would be usefull aswell.

Best Regards

  2. Thanks Simon.   Unfortunately it looks as if Michelin DR 4.75-5.25/18's are clean out now in the UK.  Vintage Tyre Supplies and Lambook Tyres, Michelins official UK suppliers are clean out and wont have any available until "2004" !!!   I have a few calls to make to some other companys but it looks as if I might have to replace with the skidmore Dunlops   KB

  3. If you don't like the Dunlops, and can't get Michelins, why not try the Blockley Concours Classico?   No one in ACTC is using these yet, but the VSCC boys are reporting great results from them.    Have a look at http://www.blockleytyre.com/page2.htm  and see what you think
