I know it is a bit late but my passenger has just pulled out at the last minute. My backups are either unavailable or incommunicado. Is anyone interested in being a passenger tomorrow? I can be contacted on 01237 471170 up until about 11pm this evening. I will probably go anyway so I can be contacted on Sunday after about 6:30am on 07771 752945. The absolute latest we can meet is at 9:30 at Plusha services (just outside Launceston).
I have to thank the Launceston and North Cornwall motor club for their excellent Tamar trial. There was a good range of sections and it was very well organised. I thought the map included with the final instructions was a nice touch and the time control half way help to keep things on schedule. It was a pity about the rain but you can't have everything :-)
My car performed very well. The last suspension and engine mods have made a huge difference. My driving left a little to be desired at times and I made some embarrassingly stupid mistakes on a few sections...
