I'm sure we will all be disappointed at the loss of this years Edinburgh trial but I think the right decision has been made.We have to respect the farming community as we owe a lot to them for the use of land etc.I personally feel it better to cancel the event once than to possibly never run it again or at least without alot of hassle.I'm sure the mcc can create a new medal called the "double".Let's hope it's not too long before we are back in full swing. MCC events are two years in planning, take one year to put together. This involves hundreds of hours of time by a devoted team. When the first competitor signs on the event has already been done by the orginisers. Like many, I am disappointed but offer thanks to the Edinburgh team for all their efforts. Greg`s notes upon the MMC web site offers an insight as to how much effort an individual puts in to give everybody the chance of a good day out. So it is thanks to all. At lease all our cars should be ready when the "Green light" does come back on. Re an MCC "Double" award, no chance but the door might not be closed tight ?
