Hi there,
I was talking to my brother and he asked does anybody still do the Troll chassis?
Who now owns the rights to build them?
I think there is a market for a kit like this again.
Just look how many Liege's it has brought into the sport.(Try and Order one of them or find one for sale)
Thanks
Steve
Terry from what was known as The Westfield Centre had the last chassis, jigs and bits - he posted them for sale on here a few years ago . . . and I was just too late in getting on the phone, cash in pocket, as he had sold the lot to one person/company. And I've not heard or seen anything of them since. I keep looking at my copy of "Build your own sportscar" and the yeller Dutton . . . sure the two could come together in a Troll shaped, sized thingie . . . Bri
ReplyDeleteThere is a guy who lives up near Carlisle who has all the jigs and some bits. He has told me he is going to start producing them again but I have seen nothing yet. Stuart Harrold - Troll T6
ReplyDeleteHi Stuart, Thanks for the info,I have also been told he is called Mark. Well done on the Allen Trial. Is this performance a warm up for the Exeter? Those new Half shafts must be worth every penny now.. Cheers Steve (Red Liege)
ReplyDeleteThanks Steve, the halfshafts help but I have just fitted a new gearbox with a much lower bottom gear, it seems to make a difference on restarts. Remembered more, the chap up in Carlisle is Mike Milne. He posted lots of pictures of his roadgoing Troll on 'Classical Gas' back on the 5/11/04, they might still be there. I can give you a phone number if you eMail me. Stuart Harrold
