Hi Guys I am looking to source some new tyres for an Escort and a MGB. Appreciate any advice / experiance / contacts. I am also looking for a Banjo type axle for MGB and a plasitc/ally bonnet for this new project. Regards Jonathan.
hi i have 3 envirotec energiser 165-80-13 as new but been lying about for 4 years also a pair of 185-14 (new) but i dont have the make at this time( where going to fit the 205 )
I have just managed to source some new Kingpin remoulds, which seem to work OK, - www.kingpin-tyres.com but of course you must check for 'legal' tread patterns on the ACTC list - www.actc.org.uk/how/Approved%20Tyre%20List%20Cars%20Mar08.pdf The difficult bit of getting these tyres is that they don't sell to the public!!! If you call them, they will tell you who their agents are, there may be someone local to you. I used MJ motorfactors who supplied them mail order, speak to Scott 01758 613078, it was a struggle to find out what was available, but when we finally settled on what I wanted, and what they could supply, the tyres were delivered next day! 6 off KMT 14x175/80 cost me just less than 짙160 delivered. I did mention to him I would pass details on, so if you do contact them, please tell him that Richard from Northampton sent you!!! Hope this helps Richard N
