Hi Ian I did buy the buggy from Dean, I don't know if it was his second. Years ago I sold a Beetle to Roger ( can't remember his second name ) in Devon and he said that the chap who bought the buggy ( a farmer I think ) wasn't using it and it stood unused. The fuel injection 1300 engine, I sold to Murray MacDonald. He took the Weber Alpha kit off of it ( too controversial! ) and sold the kit seperately. The engine is still in Michael Leete's Beetle.
